    Chief Architect of Moscow

    Sergey was born in 1977 in Moscow. In 2001 graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute. In the final course of study, he has already founded his first architectural bureau that was in close collaboration with a German bureau nps tchoban voss, headed by Russian-German architect Sergei Tchoban . In 2006 Sergey Kuznetsov together with Sergei Tchoban founded the bureau SPEECH Tchoban & Kuznetsov. Quite soon it became successful in Russia and at the moment there are 250 employees. Under the brand SPEECH Tchoban & Kuznetsov there were made such projects as Office Building on Leninsky prospect (Moscow), Residential Complex “Granatny, 6” (Moscow), ‘’Grunewald’ Residential complex (Moscow), Office and Business multifunctional complex on Ozerkovskaya embankment (Moscow), Palace of Water Sports (Kazan), Museum of Architectural Drawings in Berlin, Hotel Kempinski Plaza in Minsk, Republic of Belarus ets.
    Sergey took part in different architectural exhibitions, including international ones. In 2010 and 2012 he was the co-curator of Russian pavilion at the Architectural Biennale in Venice, which for the first time was awarded with “Special mention” prize by the jury in 2012.
    Since 2008 Sergey is also one of editors of the speech: architectural magazine.
    In 2012 Sergey was assigned to the post of the Chief architect of Moscow and left partnership of the bureau SPEECH. Today Sergey is eager to increase actively quality of architecture in Moscow. He applies a competitive practice involving foreign experts, changes quality of standard social objects and public spaces, indulges in educational and publishing projects, etc.
