Asset diversification: pushing the boundaries to incorporate infrastructure and debt

Tuesday, 11th March 2014 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

    Co-organiser: IPD

    - With investors increasingly on the look out for secure long-term income, alternative property real estate types are moving towards the mainstream.
    - IPD will open this session with a Europe-wide survey of performance, investment trends and pricing for the alternative investment sectors.
    - Infrastructure and real estate debt have previously been beyond the margin for most European institutions, but are now attracting a great deal of interest.
    - What are the main features of these investments? How can we expect them to perform in the future? How is this likely to differ from the traditional sectors?
    - Geographical differences: which are the deepest European markets, and do they offer potential for growth?
    - Means of access: which vehicles should investors consider in targeting infrastructure and debt? How do Pan-European funds compare to national market funds?
